My illustration is inspired by the unsettling atmosphere of Cat People (1942) by Jacques Tourneur, a classic of gothic horror cinema. The film explores human duality through the story of a woman torn between her human identity and a wild, animal nature—a theme that fascinated me and that I sought to reflect in my work through a visual approach filled with mystery and elegance.
