HABITANTES. Architectures of Memory – 2026
Design of full illustrations and characters for signage and exhibition graphics.
An exhibition that transforms the gallery space of the School of Architecture into an immersive and sensory environment, uncovering the invisible human stories that have inhabited the building over the centuries.
In 1846, the building that now houses the School of Architecture in Granada was home to a small school for underprivileged children, led by the teacher Cecilio Sáez. At a time when girls were not allowed to study, something extraordinary took place: a father requested that his daughter, Marta, be admitted as a student. This story—a devoted teacher and a girl who defied the norms of her time—is just one of the many hidden layers within the building.
Exhibition curated by Clara Peñalver / Habitación sellada
HABITANTES. The Most Human Side of the Hospital Real. 2025

A transmedia exhibition project developed by the University of Granada. An intimate, sensory experience—deep and mysterious, yet also playful and educational.
An installation conceived and curated by Clara Peñalver / Habitación Sellada, designed to bring us closer—through the senses—to one of the most intangible dimensions of the University of Granada’s heritage: the essence of the human being.
