Coming April 2026
This illustrated manual invites us to rethink the textile industry—not as a system of fast consumption and disposability, but as a process rooted in knowledge, craftsmanship, and history.
Through a clear and engaging visual journey, the book explores the textile production chain in Roman Hispania, from raw materials to finished garments. Each stage—making, wearing, repairing, and reusing—reveals a very different relationship with clothing: one that is more conscious, durable, and connected to its makers.
In contrast to today’s fast-paced consumption, this publication highlights the value of traditional craftsmanship while opening a dialogue between past and present, echoing contemporary movements that advocate for sustainability and handmade practices.
The result is an accessible and informative manual for a wide audience, where illustration plays a key role in making complex historical processes both engaging and easy to understand.
